Becky Cope English
Broker, Realtor®, GRI, E-Pro, New Home Specialist
Licensed in TN, GA
Born and raised in Chattanooga, Becky had several opportunities to relocate, but says no offer ever topped staying close to family and her hometown. A graduate of East Ridge class of ’92, Becky’s past experiences include restaurateur, veterinarian assistant, insurance sales and now, real estate. Also a burger enthusiast, Becky loves music, cars, food, but nothing that involves running.
Her real estate career began in 1997 (she says she was 13, but don’t buy it), where she worked closely with talented developers and real estate professionals from all over the country. She fell in love with development, but when the tech stocks crashed in 1999, she found herself changing gears and getting her real estate license.
In 2001, she went to work for RealtyCenter, at the time Chattanooga’s largest independently owned real estate company, where she quickly rose through the ranks to managing the first New Homes Division in Chattanooga. In 2004, she earned her Broker’s license and began Builder Realty Group until leaving in 2007 to join Re/Max Renaissance. The majority of her real estate training has been in new home sales, marketing and development.
Also very active in the community, Becky serves on the Greater Chattanooga Realtor Board of Directors, several committees and is also a Trustee for the Charles H. Coolidge Medal of Honor Heritage Center. In 2017, Becky was awarded Chattanooga’s Realtor of the Year.
